What is Stakeback?

Stakeback means that you'll get your original stake returned before your percentage of winnings. In comparison to a normal stake, this means P/V doesn't really matter as you'll get the full stake returned when an event turns a profit. Here are some examples in numbers:
Example: A B C
Event Buy-In: $ 100 $ 225 $ 50
Event Winnings: $ 250 $ 275 $ 10
Event Profit: $ 150 $ 50 - $ 40
Buyers Share in %: 10 % 5 % 10 %
Buyers Share with stakeback: $ 14 $ 20 $ 6
Buyers Share without stakeback: $ 14 $ 20 $ 6
Price/Value: 140 % 177,78 % 120 %
Stakeback pay-out: $ 29 $ 22,50 $ 1,20
Normal pay-out: $ 25 $ 13,75 $ 1
Net profit per share with stakeback: $ 15 $ 2,50 - $ 4,80
Net profit per share without stakeback: $ 11 - $ 6,25 - $ 5
These examples show that it's in the buyer's advantage if a seller offers stakeback on their event.
