ONCHAN, Isle of Man – October 29, 2013 – PokerStars today announced that the world’s most popular online poker series, MicroMillions, will return from November 14-24.  The sixth series will have 100 events and $5 million in guaranteed prizes.

The micro-stakes festival has buy-ins ranging from just $0.11 to $22, making it the most accessible and fun tournament series for beginner, recreational and low stakes players alike. Over the past two years the tri-annual series has quickly become the most played poker series ever, with more than one million tournament entries for each festival.

Team PokerStars Pro and two-time MicroMillions Player of the Series, Marcin ‘Goral’ Horecki, said: “MicroMillions is a lot of fun and offers great value. For low stakes players, it’s a chance to win big money at little cost, while for higher stakes players the added Tournament Leader Board prizes make it a worthwhile proposition.”

MicroMillions history

MicroMillions 4, which took place March this year, is still the most popular single online festival of all time, with 1,572,760 individual tournament entries and a total prize pool of more than $9.5 million. The Main Event was also the biggest of the tournament series so far, with more than 68,000 entries and a prize pool of $1,361,620.
